TRIANGLE MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Statement of Non-Discrimination

It is the policy of Triangle Martial Arts Associaiton, Inc. to welcome and encourage the participation of everyone, to provide equal opportunity to all, and to eliminate disrimination based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, place of birth, sex, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, weight or height.

Non-Discrimination Assurance

TMAA recognized that martial arts training has significant benefits to offer everyone, and we are committed to doing all we reasonably can to provide all an opportunity to experience these benefits in a warm, supportive, and professional enviornment.

To achieve this we conduct regular training for our certified instructors and non-instructor staff members. We also seek the advice, involvement, and recommendations of external agencies and organizations that work in the areas of equal rights and equitable access.

Filing a Discrimination Complaint

TMAA establishes a delegation of authority and responsibility for ensuring the correct implimentaiton of our non-discrimination policy from our International Board of Directors through the International Instructors Executive Council and on to the National, Regional, and Local representatives.

These appointed or elected individuals are responsible for ensuring the correct implementation of the policy, and for responding to and investigating complaints of non-compliance or discrimination at any level within the TMAA organization.

To register a complaint or request further information, please send an e-mail to the International Equal Opportunity Officer for TMAA at :
