TRIANGLE SANCTIONED OR SUPPORTED EVENTS Triangle Martial Arts Association is happy and proud to sanction events worldwide which are hosted by TMAA Games Certified and recognized instructors and which are run under our Triangle Games Rules. Simply contact us for a Sanction Application Form and we'll be happy to work with you to make your event a success.
Triangle Martial Arts Association is also happy to support and promote events by other organizations, entities, and indiviudals provided they meet the following standards and are approved by the TMAA Tournament Operations and Procedures executive. All events seeking TMAA support must: Embrace and effectivly employ a spirit of diversity and inclusivity in their event towards the LGBTQQI, Senior, Disabled, and low income communities. Develop and employ reasonable safety protocols and rules for all elements of the event and must not allow full contact engagement of any sort between two or more participants. Establish and maintain qualified and certified referees and officials to conduct the event in a professional and equitable manner. Conduct the event in a spirit of openness and friendship, with all areas of the event open to full public disclosure if requested. Post and adhere to a diversity, equality, and inclusion statement throughout the period of the event, and in all pre-event publications and discusssions
These requirements may change from time to time at the discretion of the TMAA TOPS executive. To seek our support for your event, simply contact us for an Event Support Application form and we'll be happy to work with you to in support of your event. 
CURRENT EVENT SCHEDULE  FRIDAY AUGUST 1- SUNDAY AUGUST 3, 2008 IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA, USA Triangle Summer Games & Martial Arts Gala Eureka Valley Recreation Center 100 Collingwood Street, San Francisco, CA 94114 Hwa Rang Kwan Martial Arts Center 371 5th Street, San Francisco, CA 94107 FRIDAY 8/01 - 7pm - 9:30pm - Registration and orientation, plus Referee certification and rules clinic followed by dinner in the heart of San Francisco's Castro district. SATURDAY 8/02 - 9am - 6pm - TMAA Sanctioned 20th Triangle Games event and in association with Hwa Rang Kwan of San Francisco and United Martial Arts Clubs of America (UMACA). These games will be held at Hwa Rang Kwan Martial Arts Studio. Divisions at these games include: (1) Traditional Forms Division (Open to all players) (2) Creative Forms Division (Open to all players) (3) Team Demonstration Division (Open to all players) (4) Self-Defense Division (Open to all players) (5) TMAA Freestyle Sparring Division (Open to all players)
Saturday evening can be spent enjoying the many entertainment opportunities San Francisco and the Castro have to offer, or join us for dinner at a local eatery (dutch treat). SUNDAY 8/03 - 9am - 4pm - Outdoor wake-up workout followed by brunch, then an easy afternoon of some fun and information packed seminars. Entry fee is $30.00 per player prior to 07/01/08 and $40 thereafter until the entry deadline of 07/19/08. This fee allows players to participate in one or all five divisions plus allows access to Sunday's day of Seminars.
